The senior management team of the Gorgon Project recognises the great work that Jo has done and continues to do with respect to the development and execution of the Ground and Vegetation Disturbance Certificate. This activity has been recognised as the most important terrestrial environmental risk that the Gorgon Project faces and Jo’s continued involvement is very much appreciated. As an aside, the Pilbara Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) officers were recently given an overview of this process and have stated that it is the most comprehensive process that they have encountered and if implemented properly would set the benchmark for the industry.
